POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION PURPOSE - Manage all facets of Maintenance for a regional store group. Enhance the support and communication between the store maintenance department, stores and district management as well as provide added support to RVP. Visit and inspect stores to ensure quality maintenance

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - * Annual Inspections and Store Walks, and such correspondence including inspection summaries and follow-up. * Meetings and telephone conversations with store and district management, and occasionally with RVP. * Paperwork consisting of invoice approval and disputes, project requests and follow-up, and all miscellaneous incoming and outgoing correspondence. * Miscellaneous projects or tasks, typically consisting of any seasonal projects (initiative rollouts), annual projects such as annual budgets and racking repairs, and expense account tracking by means of monthly P&L review. * Direct interaction with maintenance coordinators to review any questions or issues, invoice problems, store situations, pending and ongoing projects, etc.

NATURE AND SCOPE - * Typically reports to Manager Maintenance. * This position has no direct reports. * Typically has frequent contacts outside the workgroup. * Typically procedures for analyzing situations and making conclusions are diverse. * Typically solves problems by considering courses of action within the framework of management' s goals and standards. * Typically progress or results of work is periodically checked. Has some leeway to change work procedures.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS - * Must meet reasonable deadlines, quotas or demands for accuracy and/or may be involved in some mildly difficult situations. ESSENTIAL SKILLS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -

EDUCATION REQUIRED - * The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE -

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS - * Most all of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES - * The ability to effectively communicate with people of all levels, and show a desire to fully serve them and resolve their needs. * Ability to effectively multi-task. * Excellent follow-through skills * Some supervisory skills. Ability to properly and effectively delegate and follow-up. Minimal conflict resolution will be required.
