POSITION DESCRIPTION This position will be responsible for completing the monthly, quarterly and annual close. This position will be required to provide all financial reporting (footnote disclosures), federal, state and local income tax requests. Coordination with Home Depot consolidated accounting, eliminations and reporting. This position will also be responsible for preparation and distribution of the monthly financial reporting package including comparisons of financial results to budget, actual and prior year and variance explanation and analysis. Plan, coordinate and manage the month-end and annual close process to include preparation of financial statements and other month-end financial reporting. Preparation of monthly financial reporting package to, executive management and operations Tax reporting Data requests Management and leadership of the General Accounting team Process improvement activities, including presenting ideas for increased efficiencies ESSENTIAL SKILLS Minimum Qualifications Minimum Age : 18 Education: The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor-s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. Yrs of Relevant Work Experience: 3 yrs
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may need to move or lift light articles.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must pass drug and background tests.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: CPA a plus Knowledge of GAAP and Financial Reporting Requirements Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office products Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies: Strong accounting skills Strong analysis skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task and deal with multiple priorities
