POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION PURPOSE - We are seeking world-class talent looking to build a career with the world-s largest home improvement retailer, operating more than 2,200 store locations in the U.S, Canada and Mexico. Specifically, your role in homedepot.com will place you at the center of one of the top 40 retail websites that is experiencing an exciting growth trajectory. You will be exposed to the latest Web technologies including J2EE, Websphere, and numerous industry-leading Web technologies running at large, enterprise scale. You will work with IT teams and business partners to understand strategic initiatives as well as deliver leading-edge online capabilities that also support Home Depot?s retail business. You will apply advanced problem-solving techniques and coordinate with other core team members to resolve system issues, maintain complex business logic and identify and implement innovative solutions. - Business Analyst skills with web / eCommerce experience. Retail experience a plus. - Process and functional experience, strong facilitation and communication abilities. - Ability to produce business process and systems functional requirements that drive business value and meet customer expectations. - Ability to handle multiple ?bosses? and opinions from technology teams, business teams, third-party implementation consultants.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Develop detail requirements including cost-benefit analysis for approved small to mid-sized projects and enhancements to existing projects. Develop User Acceptance testing (UAT) and trace-ability matrix with the Business Client. Develop System Requirement Documents (SRD) and Systems External Specifications (SES) documents for the UAT and System test groups to assist with testing scenarios. Interface with Business Stakeholders and IT Infrastructure teams to work through the start-up phase of the project including ensuring business requirements and business acceptance documents are accurately developed. Assist with training and rollout plans for new systems or enhancements to existing systems. Maintain a working knowledge of business unit processes, procedures and current applications.

NATURE AND SCOPE - Typically reports to Manager - Service Management No direct responsibility for supervising others.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS - Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. ESSENTIAL SKILLS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -

EDUCATION REQUIRED - The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.
