Key contact with day-to-day responsibility for The Home Depot's national print advertising programs. This includes coordination of all printing and logistics, quality control management, regional versioning, page allocation planning and budget management. Beginning with initial merchandise space allocation through final printing and insertion, this position is responsible for the analytical and strategic thinking required to balance the merchandising and marketing business needs, focused on advertising effectives and ROI. This includes budget management relating to page counts, distribution, vendor participation, versioning, local market requirements, advertising effectiveness and annual space/budget planning. This position is also responsible for the highest levels of quality control and printing. Working in tandem with purchasing, the Print Programs Manager will measure printing techniques, print production efficiencies, quality control guidelines/reporting and overall and adherence to budgets. This position coordinates daily with the Print Production Manager, Systems Manager and Creative Managers.

<br><br><b>POSITION PURPOSE</b> -
The Interactive Marketing and e-Business Project Manager is responsible for executing online and offline marketing and/or e-Business initiatives designed to increase sales, enhance The Home Depot's distinctive brand position, and maximize profit for The Home Depot stores and e-commerce properties. This person will play a key role in executing THD's Call, Click, Visit marketing strategies associated with one or more interactive marketing media (Web, mail, catalogs, email, DRTV, search engines, portals, and affiliate marketing). This person will work closely with numerous agency and vendor partners and be charged with executing multiple initiatives against aggressive schedules and online/offline sales goals. As the principle driver of their initiatives, this person will work across functional groups (e.g. Merchandising, Marketing, Logistics, IT, etc.) to coordinate efforts and ensure success.
<br><br><b>MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES</b> -
* Become the subject matter expert for assigned multichannel marketing media. Learn and report on best practices, industry standards, and legal requirements associated with assigned projects
* Lead initiatives throughout the project lifecycle; including discovery and initial assessment, program and/or requirements definition, creative brief, program implementation and launch, and ongoing measurement and reporting. Develop supporting processes as needed.
* Help integrate initiatives with internal partners in Marketing, IT, Creative, Merchandising, Operations, etc.
* Measure ongoing effectiveness of programs against target metrics. Develop and execute ongoing enhancement/optimization strategy based on measured performance and customer feedback.
* Coordinate integrated teams from one or more external agencies or functional organizations supporting managed initiatives
* Responsible for initiative budget, goals, and schedule. Manage variances and communicate progress and issues to management.
<br><br><b>NATURE AND SCOPE</b> -
* Typically reports to Director, Multi-Channel Marketing
* No associates report to this role on a permanent basis, but requires the leadership of a work group: assign and review work, train and contribute to performance appraisal (but not hiring, firing or disciplinary action).
<br><br><b>ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS</b> -
* Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
* Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Must be eighteen years of age
* Must pass the Drug Test
* Must pass the Background Check
* Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable

* The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

* Most of the time is spent sitting or standing in the same location or there may be a need to stoop regularly or move/lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).

* Project management experience associated with Interactive Marketing and/or Web projects. Knowledge of MS Project, PowerPoint, and MS Office. Ability to understand the basics of technology associated with direct marketing, online marketing, and e-Business.

* Understanding of Interactive Marketing and e-Business strategies, channels, technologies, principles, and processes
* Marketing/Web experience associated with a national-level retailer
