The responsibility of the Sr. Manager Marketing - Merchandise is to develop long and short term marketing strategy and business position for a number of merchandise departments. This position will serve as the primary liaison between the Merchandising leadership, specifically the Senior Vice Presidents of Merchandising, and all Marketing cross functional departments. This person will direct and manage a team of approximately 4-5 Managers Marketing - Merchandise (MMMs), who have responsibility to manage both strategic and tactical execution of marketing programs for their respective departments. This position will also have direct responsibility to serve as the marketing lead for at least 1 department, possibly more as needed.
<br><br><b>MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES</b>

* 25% Work with senior merchandising leadership to develop long and short term marketing strategies, as well as find and execute targeted marketing opportunities

* 40% Accountable for team of Merchandise Marketing Managers who serve as chief marketing officers of their respective merchandising departments. Ensure they provide strong strategic planning, tactical execution, total integration and creative vision for their clients.

* 25% Develop monthly, quarterly and annual marketing plans for assigned merchandising department(s) based on competitive analysis, consumer input, financial data and creative tactics.

* 10% Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchandise vendors. The goal of these relationships is to establish unique sales driving opportunities to THD and support the Merchandise Marketing Managers as they direct and manage incremental vendor funding for marketing projects and provide value opportunities for merchant sales negotiations.

A Senior Business Analyst on the Merchandising Services team manages dynamic projects. He/she identifies and analyzes multiple components of a problem, draws conclusions, and leads initiatives for the Merchandising Services. The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for all aspects of project management, from inception to completion. The Sr. Business Analyst contributes in a lead role to the Sr. Management team in the evaluation, design, development and implementation of standardized reporting and business processes. The Sr. Business Analyst will handle all aspects of project management from inception to completion. The knowledge of finance is required to understand which financial elements should be reviewed and their impact to earnings.
