15% Works with District HR team on all aspects of executing HR initiatives across a district. Conducts leadership training on associate relations topics to SMs, ASMs, and DSs as appropriate. Conduct store visits and town halls in district.
15% Along with the Region AR Mgr, serves as a resource and provides guidance to the DM, District HR Mgr (DHRM), and SMs on policy.
10% Investigates compliance issues raised in charges at the direction of Director of AR, Sr. AR Specialist or EEO Compliance Mgr (i.e., Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA complaints); assists Sr. AR Specialist or EEO Compliance Mgr with mediations, hearings or on-site visits; represents district in litigation matters by attending and assisting in depositions, mediations, etc.
15% Provides support and guidance to store leadership teams and DHRM on day to day AR issues in the store as well as associate relations decisions regarding terminations, disciplinary matters, performance improvement plans, reductions in force, etc.
10% Works with District HR Mgr and Gov Compliance Mgr to address I-9 and other AAP compliance issues in the district.
10% Assists Region AR Mgr in addressing any labor relations or protest activity in the district; implements union-free learning programs; monitors UVI and EOC action plans in the district.
10% Assists DHRM and store leadership on all LOAs and lost time issues; partners with DHRM and Medical Health Management in addressing reasonable accommodation issues
15% Ensures appropriate and timely resolution of associate issues (i.e., AwareLine process, Staff Action items (letters to corporate officers) and letters received directly) consistent with company policy and legal requirement. Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
